Joy is an awesome dog but she does have high puppy energy so is best in a home with no small children and a family who will include her in walks and hikes etc.

 Update Joy has been in a two week training class and is ready for adoption. Right now she is being fostered at Dogtopia a doggy daycare and is doing wonderful. She is a very smart puppy and needs someone who is going to give her rules and  activities that match her energy and intelligence. She truly wants to please her human.

Joy here saying hello all. I am a super sweet timid girl with a whole lot of energy looking for my forever home. We can have fun playing and walking together. I get along with most dogs so I could have a brother or sister. I squeaked out of a high kill shelter after being placed there because my family had to move. I don't really know what that means but I ended up in a scary place and I just want to find a new family who will love me and keep me my whole life. I asked Santa Paws to find me my forever home for the holidays but I am afraid I did not give him enough notice. If you like me please go to allmuttsmatter.org and fill out an application to adopt me.

Our adoption process is below:

1.  Submit an application and it will be processed, evaluated and we will contact the vet and personal references;

2. All other applications that have been submitted  will also be processed (best suited applicant is chosen, not first come first serve);

3. Schedule a home visit; and

4. Adoption is finalized when the best-fitting home is found for Joy. If you have young children and/or other pets and everyone gets along, She will be able to stay at your home and do a foster to adopt for about a two-week trial period. If all is going well after the trial period, the adoption will then be finalized. Our adoption fee for Joy  is $295.00.
