Update!!  Wow!!  This is one super sweet and loving girl.  Kira arrived in DE last Saturday and is already settling in very nicely at her foster home.  She walks very well on leash, rides nicely in the car, loves belly rubs, is crate and house trained, plays great with dogs of all sizes and is good with kitties.  Kira is also a bit of velcro kid and loves to be close to people.

Hi!  My name is Kira and I was pulled from a high-kill shelter in Kentucky and enrolled in the local prison program to be taught how to walk well on a leash, sit, stay, lay down and some cute tricks.  I'm doing real well with learning all of these skills and I graduate from the program next week.  I get along very well with other dogs, I'm house and crate trained and my trainer says that I'm a quick learner.  I will be arriving in PA/DE on the weekend of June 14th and really hope to find my furever home real soon.  Once Kira is with All Mutts Matter, we will find out more about her.  It is unknown at this time how she is with kitties.  If you have any questions about Kira, please email Donna at rescuemuttsrule@yahoo.com and if you would like to adopt Kira, kindly fill out our adoption application located at allmuttsmatter.org under the ‘adoption’ tab listed on the left.  Thanks so much for wanting to adopt a rescue kid.
