Cute cute cute!!! This is the first thought that enters your mind when you meet Duncan. He's a darling 18 month old Pomeranian/Poodle, is an itty bitty 13 pounds, has been shuffled around a little to three different homes in his short life, but he is doing very well in his foster home and getting along with several foster siblings of all ages and sizes. Duncan was bought in a pet store and his owner was hoping he would stay tiny but apparently Duncan wasn't small enough and the prior owner tried to keep him smaller by only feeding him a little bit a day. Not nice!! Dunc is a dark eyed ball of fluffy, wild wire haired, long legged love with a slight underbite. A mini guy who is constantly in motion, would like to live in a moderately active home and if there are childen, he would probably be better living with kids over the age of 10. Duncan is in crate and house training mode and doing well. He is healthy, fully vaccinated, taking preventatives and is neutered. Duncan is an excellent copilot in the car, will stay next to you in the passenger seat without jumping all around the car. Keeps your seat warm till you come back on short errands. Doesn't even try to steal anything in the car. Duncan is learning that grass is ok and to pottie there. Rather than on the road or sidewalk. He's learning what treats are and to eat them and not hide them. Has no clue what toys are, loves to be cuddled, held, kissed and brushed. He also LOVES his head scratched and ears rubbed softly. He melts and totally relaxes when he is rubbed, petted and scratched. If you have any questions about Duncan, please email Donna at rescuemuttsrule@yahoo.com and if you would like to adopt Duncan, kindly fill out our adoption application located at allmuttsmatter.org under the ‘adoption’ tab listed on the left. Thanks so much for wanting to adopt a rescue dog.
