Groot here saying hello!! I am looking for a family to call my own. I am such a lover! I am an amazing boy who just needs a little time to adjust to you and the things around me. If you give me the time I need I will be the best boy you could ever imagine. I will need a 6 foot fence because I have been known to hop a fence or two. I love to sit next to my foster family and get love. Once I have adopted you as my family I will follow you wverywhere. I really am a great boy just timid and shy at first. I am good with dogs and people.!

I came to AMMF with heartworm. I have been treated for them and have gotten a clean bill of health. I have been neutered and had my yearly shots. I am crate trained, house trained and leash trained.  I love being with my family. If you allow it, I will snuggle with you on the couch, or in your lap. My current house only lets me be on one couch, and I am very good at following the house rules. I am very well behaved, and to date, my foster mom has never heard me bark or whine. I am a little shy with new people and I will hide in my crate or under the nearest table for a little bit. But it doesn't take me long to warm up and greet house guests. I love to run in a fenced in yard and play. I especially love playing outside with the other dogs in the house. I will jump a 4ft fence if I get bored outside, so I must have a 6 ft fence. I love running with my foster dad! I am leash trained and stay on one side of my partner. I run a little bit of a slower pace (10 minute miles) since my legs are so short, but I love the exercise! My foster family has a 2.5 year old and a 9 month old. I love being around both kids and I’m very gentle when we play together. Sometimes the little boy gets too excited and that’s when I go hide from him in my crate. Lastly, I want you to know that I am a little bit skittish, especially when you make sudden movement or loud noises. But living in a house with 2 young kids I have gotten a LOT better with this. I really am a great boy and am very eager to please my family.
