Baxter here and I have a hope that I will find my forever home before the holidays. I had a rough road but I got lucky and found people who would not fail me. I come from a rural area in Georgia. I was found as a stray but a great family but they could not keep me they took me to the shelter. They found I had a large mark down my back that looks like a burn. That was minor to the heartworms that I had. All Mutts Matter worked with another group of rescues and I became free. They said it was my soulful eyes. I cannot thank all those ladies enough for helping me. I have been fully vetted and had my heart worm  treatment. I can't wait to have my own family. Even though some humans failed me in the past I am really a super good boy. I listen, am housetrained and love just about everybody and thing.
